Cancer Rock-a-thon
Rock-a-thon for the Cancer Association of Shelby County
This will be our fifth year holding the Rock-a-thon at our Shelbyville branch. The Rock-a-thon's purpose is to to raise money to donate to the Cancer Association of Shelby County.
Come out between August 27th and September 7th to raise money and rock for a cause.
Thanks to our members and staff, we raised $1035.00 and presented a check to Donna Harrel of the Cancer Association of Shelby County last year.
About the Cancer Association of Shelby County
The Cancer Association of Shelby County, which began in 1936 with the formation of the Women’s Field Army against cancer, operates both a thrift store and an eBay store to help raise funds in support of their cause. Their mission is to “help improve the quality of life by being sensitive and supportive to the cancer patients of Shelby County financially, personally and spiritually.”
