Debit Card Roundup
Round up your transactions to the nearest whole dollar with the Debit Card Roundup Program. Saving money has never been so easy!
Upon enrollment, you agree that the credit union will round your Harvester Financial Credit Union debit card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference to the designated share account that you reference in this agreement. Each roundup transaction is processed separately and will be noted as such on your monthly statement. Christmas Club Accounts are not eligible for Debit Card Roundup Program designation.
You spend $4.95 at the grocery store after taxes. You see a charge for $4.95 in your checking account. $0.05 is transferred out of your checking account into your designated savings account to round the transaction to the nearest dollar.
If on a business day, you do not have sufficient funds available in your checking account, or if any transaction has overdrawn on your checking account, we will not round up the purchase and will cancel the roundup for that transaction. If your debit card transaction is subsequently canceled or reversed, the corresponding roundup transaction will remain in your designated savings account. We may cancel or modify the Debit Card Roundup program at any time without prior notice. Debit Card Roundup is available only on a debit card linked to your Harvester Financial Credit Union checking account. You may opt-out of the Debit Card Roundup program at any time by notifying HFCU. The Debit Card Roundup program will transfer to any new debit card added to your designated checking account and savings account you have on your account unless you notify us otherwise.
